Storm Chasing Highlights DVD

PWX 2008 contains some of the most beautiful and action packed severe weather footage you'll find from the 2008 and 2007 storm chasing seasons! From the well covered big outbreaks of May 22 and May 23 2008, to rare video of the northeast Illinois Chicago Area wedge fest with 4 huge tornadoes from one supercell! Tornadoes are not all you'll find though, dangerous lightning and large hail frequent this DVD, and you'll be blown away by 100 mph RFD winds in western Kansas!

*Warning: Contains Adult Language*
While you can probably count the amount of times strong language is used on one hand, I feel obligated to make it known ahead of time that I did not edit out any strong language used in intense situations.

Every storm chaser has a video "style" that works best for them. My personal style happens to be more along the "scientific video" type, with video being tripoded whenever possible with minimal yelling (at least from myself) to allow the natural sounds of the storm to dominate the video.

Youtube heavily compresses video, so the actual DVD will be much higher quality.

Music Intro
The DVD opens with a 3 minute intro featuring various clips from the season set to a dramatic orchestral piece.
May 21 2008 -  Yuma Colorado
Just a brief segment on an isolated hailer that developed near Yuma during the evening. Later a pretty supercell produces a wall cloud near Stratton.
May 22 2008 - Western Kansas
Four tornadoes from various supercells across western Kansas, with 3 of them being from close range. Nearly side-swiped by the twighlight Wakeeney tornado.
May 23 2008 - Western Kansas
Several low contrast tornadoes followed by a plunge into the bears cage of a supercell at dusk with near 100 mph winds snapping and uprooting trees outside the car window.
May 30 2008 - Western Illinois
Three supercells intercepted across western Illinois. I somehow manage to avoid all the tornadoes on the day, but still manage some great structure.
June 3 2008 - Manchester Illinois
Pretty cone tornado touches up and down for 20 minutes from a nice isolated minisupercell. More great structure is provided through the evening towards dark.
June 4 2008 - Central Nebraska
Should have been in Iowa. Brief segment from the ugly supercells near Lincoln during the evening.
June 7 2008 - Northeast Illinois
The day that makes the DVD. One supercell produces 4 large and destructive tornadoes wasting no time between tornadoes. Features some of the quickest mesocyclone transitions I've ever seen going from wedge tornado to new wedge tornado in seconds!
April 24 2007 - Nickerson Kansas
Gorgeous supercell toys around with some dusty weak tornadic touchdowns.
May 21 2007 - North Dakota
Gorgeous elephant trunk tornado near Glen Ullin North Dakota from an isolated supercell.
May 22 2007 -  St. James Kansas
The structure winner for 2007 produces a pretty tornado near St. James during the evening.
May 23 2007 - Texas Panhandle
Dominant HP structure provides photogenic moments, but no visible tornadoes.
May 25 2007 - Winona Kansas
Probably the most photogenic storm of the year for me. A beautiful HP supercell with the longest beaver tail I've ever seen streaming into it.
August 13 2007 - Foley Minnesota
Intercept of another beast HP supercell that absolutely flattens me with strong winds and large hail that plaster mud and grass to my windows.
