Glen Ullin, North Dakota

Time lapse of the supercell tornadogenesis evolution.

This bomb to our east had a nasty couplet at times, but never produced a tornado.

The main event was getting organized to the east now. Wall cloudr rapidly developing just south of Interstate 90 west of Bismark.

Healthy wall cloud now just south of, and about to cross Interstate 90.

Zoomed in shot now of the rapidly rotating wall cloud, with an RFD notch beginning to swoop through.
Beautiful wall cloud with clear slot developing and wrapping around it.
Mesocyclone and updraft are now very wrapped up. Hoping it will produce before the thing occludes and cuts off!
Looking promising now. Funnel cloud!
Getting a little wider. The thing teased forever before finally committing to producing...
There we go. Tornado now near Glen Ullin, North Dakota.
Mature tornado now.
Starting to get fairly diffuse now near the surface.
Didn't last long, unfortunately! Not a problem though, as we had to eat and run! Long drive to Kansas for the next day's chase.
