October 29 2004
McLean, Illinois

All of my account prior to 2008 were recently lost, so I'm in the process of updating and re-writing every chase account. This is proving to be very time-consuming so for now this day remains to be updated.

Supercell developing in McLean County now.
Getting closer now. Still not much activity underneath, but I was intrigued.

Wall cloud rapidly developing near the precip core to the right.

Wall cloud getting it's act together now.
Funnel cloud now as the sirens sound in McLean to my west.
Nice CG bolt with the funnel cloud to the left. Things quickly fell apart shortly after this image, however.
Re-organizing now, however. Nice wall cloud complete with tail cloud to my north.
RFD slot forming now to my north. The supercell was racing away from me now as it neared Bloomington.
Wall cloud again almost directly over Bloomington. Things became rain wrapped shortly after. A new supercell formed on it's southern flank, however lack of lightning led me to cut the chase once the sun set.
